Profile

Drawing on my training at overseas maritime law firms and postgraduate studies, I specialize in all aspects of domestic and international logistics (sea, air and land transport, warehousing, etc.) and insurance related to logistics and, in particular, handle a number of cases related to bills of lading and consultations for freight forwarders. In order to properly resolve logistics-related cases, it is essential not only to have expertise in the field yourself, but also to work closely with overseas maritime law firms. I continue to study not only Japanese transport law but also international transport law and, by making use of our network of overseas maritime law firms and collaborating with them, I strive to provide advice and resolve disputes in a way that is satisfactory to my clients.
In addition to general corporate and civil cases, I also specialize in real estate transactions (sale, purchase, lease, mediation), bankruptcy cases (bankruptcy, civil rehabilitation), traffic accidents, inheritance (especially remainders) and family matters (divorce, etc.), based on my experience of more than 10 years at a law firm handling a wide range of corporate and general civil matters before joining the firm.
Having handled a wide range of cases, I am able to examine matters from multiple perspectives and strive to provide the best possible advice to my clients.
