Profile

After completing graduate studies in Japan, I worked for a law firm in Shanghai, China, specializing in maritime and admiralty law for three years. I was involved in handling various wet and dry maritime cases, including ship collisions, general average, domestic and international transport/logistics, commercial transactions, and contract review/drafting. In March 2023, I came to Japan and admitted as a Registered Foreign Lawyer (Chinese Law) in June 2024. I provide legal services based on Chinese legal systems and practices, focusing on cross-border matters between Japan and China related to maritime and commercial issues, as well as maritime casualties in China. I also have experience in general civil and commercial law cases in China, such as inheritance and divorce matters, labor issues, and shareholder rights disputes, and I offer necessary advice in these areas. My goal is not only to ensure compliance with the law but also to provide professional services taking into account the broader social implications and each client’s needs, based on my deep understanding of cultural differences affecting cross-border legal disputes.
